August 1st saw the introduction of new wireless browsing packs for Telstra NextG customers.
Telstra have increased usage ok their mid-range $10 & $29 data packs by a significant amount.
A $10 has increased from 20mb to 150mb and the $29 plan increased from 80mb to 350mb.
Telstra’s media release states that the reason for the change is due to upgrades to capacity of the NextG network.
Whatever the reason, long suffering PDA users can now start to use their devices as they were intended.
Telstra will actively contact customers on the affected plans and will upgrade over the next few months. If you can’t wait, contact them directly on 125111 and request an upgrade.
