Whether it’s an iPod or another type of media player, music is not only type of audio/video.

Pod-casts are recordings of audio shows that are included in a feed and automatically downloaded to you computer or even your mp3 device.

Many main-stream media comapanies also have a pod-cast feed for their audio and video and podcasting is the medium of choice for smaller or alternative media agencies.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be highlighting a few of my favourite pod-casts and how you can get into this exciting and flexible technology.

Here is one to start. Or should I say many. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (abc.net.au) offers many their television and radio shows as podcasts.

They list all their podcasts on this site.
